Buck Hill Management Area, in northeast Rhode Island, covers a total land area of over 2000 acres primarily composed of a mix of deciduous and evergreen forest and just over 200-acres of wetlands. This hiking adventure features Buck Hill Pond, Wallum Lake, forest and wildlife. The marsh area is home to some waterfowl, muskrat, and other wetland birds. Other Wildlife that you may encounter include deer, beaver and wild-turkey. Be apprised that dogs must be kept on a leash while on the trail.
